What We Can Learn About the Holy Spirit’s Power From the Life of Mary (Video)

Zoe Romanowsky - published on 01/06/16

If we have courage to say "yes" like Mary, we will also experience the power of God

There are times in life when we can’t imagine how things will get better, how we can be healed or how something will change.  The power of the Holy Spirit makes all things possible. It’s how God became man in the womb of the Virgin Mary. Only the power of the Holy Spirit can do such things. Mary’s “yes” to such a seemingly impossible event was the result of the Holy Spirit’s power working in her. The Holy Spirit gives her the grace to bear the Incarnation, and her yes reverberates through the centuries. It can be our response and our prayer too.

In this video, the fourth to be released in the new series on the Holy Spirit called The Wild Goose, we’re invited to reflect on the Holy Spirit in the Life of Mary and what it means for our spiritual lives today.
