“And Here Is the Room Where Pope Benedict Slept…”

An Aleteia correspondent is currently in Freiburg, Germany, and he’s been gracious enough to share some of what he is seeing there (hence this). Today he sends us this image of a stark, bare bedroom and writes:

Pope Benedict XVI is the pope of humility. He visited Freiburg from September 22-25 2011. He was received by the seminary of Freiburg, one of Germany’s most prestigious seminaries. It is worth noting that the pope chose to sleep in a modest room dedicated to visitors, as you can see in the picture.
