Domino’s Hero Wow

A story came out today of a man in need who was rescued when Domino’s Pizza noticed that he hadn’t ordered in a few days:

“Several of our drivers had commented that they hadn’t seen an order come through for him recently,” Fuller said. “And when we looked it up, we knew instantly it wasn’t normal.” Concerned because they knew he had some health problems, they tried calling his phone number, but it immediately went to voicemail, said Fuller, who has been the general manager since 2011. “It was about 1 a.m. Sunday morning, and we weren’t terribly busy,” Fuller said. “So I asked one of our regular drivers who knew Alexander to stop by the customer’s home on Penticton Circle NE and check it out. We all know Kirk and he only lives about 6 minutes from our store, so the whole team was concerned.”

The driver went on to call 911 and the man received the medical attention he needed. The crew from Domino’s has since been visiting the man in the hospital.

This story is truly incredible and, while there is probably a joke to be made about it, we would like to recognize that this Domino’s team are incredible human beings and thank them for their heroism as well as their works of mercy.

Ok… We’ll make one joke:
