What these kids do when told they have to pick between 1 of 2 gifts, will have you in tears

The Daily Catch - published on 12/10/16

This video perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Christmas. Children were brought to a room and offered the gift they wanted the most as well as what they thought their parents would like the most. Then, they were asked to choose between the two.

It’s wonderful that these kids understand the sacrifices that their parents make to raise them and it’s inspiring that all of them were willing to sacrifice their own wants to help give back.

Some of our favorite responses were:

“Because, Legos don’t matter. Your family matters. Not Legos, not toys. Your family. So, it’s either family or Legos and I choose family.” “If I get a laptop, my mom should get something. She helps me when I’m sick. She helps me with my homework…” “They look out for me and do stuff for me, so I need to give back to them.”

We wish these kids the Merriest of Christmases and would like to thank their parents for raising kids with such good heads on their shoulders.
