Opera star and Grammy winner Nathan Gunn returns to his roots in South Bend and will become the big man on campus at the University of Notre Dame this fall. He will be an artist-in-residence sharing his talents and his teachings with opera students.  Gunn will teach and meet with students one week each semester over the next four years.  He will also coach opera-bound hopefuls as they prep for performances.

Earlier this year Gunn worked with singing pal and actor Mandy Patinkin on a birthday tribute they performed for Stephen Sondheim’s 80th birthday.
