Addressing the problem of evil and sufferingThe problem of evil and suffering has long been one of the greatest stumbling blocks to believing in a personal, loving God. University of Oxford professor, John Lennox, says that if Christianity is to be credible, it has to be able to say something to those who suffer. Grief is very real for us all, but the hope of Christianity is that suffering and death are temporary and we will see our loved ones again. Is this true? The question brings us straight back to Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection.
