Pope Francis: "Holiness is not something that we procure for ourselves, that we obtain by our qualities and capabilities. Holiness is a gift, it is the gift that the Lord Jesus bestows on us, when He takes us to himself and clothes us in himself, he makes us like him.

Holiness is a gift offered to everyone, no one is excluded. Therefore, it is the distinctive character of every Christian.

To be holy, we do not necessarily need to be bishops, priests or religious… We are all called to become saints! "
