Israel’s parliament dissolves. Israel’s parliament officially ended Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s third term after less than two years, as campaigning intensified for the March 17 election. The Knesset voted 93-0 to dissolve itself following Netanyahu’s decision to fire two cabinet ministers, declaring that his multi-party coalition was out of control and sabotaging his governing agenda. (Let us pray that God’s will be done regarding the future government of Israel)
BLOOMBERG
Israel’s view of Obama slips even further! Whereas his predecessors were consistently counted among Israel’s best friends in the international arena, US President Barack Obama is seen by the majority of Israelis as being an enemy of the Jewish state, according to a new survey.

Hispanic Christians vow to support Israel "without compromise" — "Israel is the sole democracy in that part of the world and a safeguard for religious pluralism. Israel is not the problem, Israel is the solution. My message to Israel and the Jewish people is that there is a Hispanic Christian community emerging that will not abandon Israel or the Jewish people. We will build a firewall against anti-Semitism, and we will do that with integrity and compassion." — Rev. Dr. Samuel Rodriguez

ASQUITH’S COMMENTS
In Catherine Ruth’s
"Where Faith and Virtues Go to Die" on
ALETEIA, we read about the epidemic of sexual promiscuity and
worldly influences which are infecting students nationwide. In some instances it could be said that for a concerned family to send their child to college, is to guarantee their corruption! This discouraging dilemma presents an incredible opportunity for the Church to clean up its educational institutions and deliver what is needed most — quality education based on the acknowledgement of, and reverence for, God.

Statement by the Rev. Dr. Samuel Rodriguez. How
thoroughly refreshing to see a Church leader take a clear stand on this issue, and to base his position on the teachings of Scripture. Scriptures which, in today’s age, are become increasingly unpopular. Watch out for more and more Churches who are willing to "throw out" sections of Holy Writ to suit their particular ideologies, philosophies and politics.
