Then they will quote what the same Obama told the Illinois Senate early in his career to stop a bill that would have protected babies born alive during abortions.
He warned: “what we’re really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a – child, a nine-month-old – child that was delivered to term. That determination then, essentially, if it was accepted by a court, would forbid abortions to take place.”
His deadly logic: If we let them protect newborns in abortion clinics, they will stop us from killing pre-borns.
Critics of Christianity will go on to point out that Obama promised Planned Parenthood that he would expand the abortion industry in unprecedented ways, did so by stealth, and became its great champion.
Frankly, today’s Catholic apologists have it easy.
In the future, the world will look in horror at us, a civilization so willing to slaughter its own young in the womb. And our Christian brothers and sisters 100 years from now will have to explain why we were so willing to help Obama create a culture where it has become a commonplace occurrence.
We know how to explain the Crusades and the Inquisition. How will we explain Obama?
