Video: Being Different is Normal

Share

Accepting each others' differences should be the norm

This video was created by the Jerome Lejeune Foundation for World Down Syndrome Day 2015. It’s a reminder that all of us feel uncomforable when we find ourselves in situations in which we’re "different." But really, acceptance of each others’ differences should be the "norm" because "abnormal" and "normal" are really a matter of context.

"In the spirit of World Down Syndrome Day, this video celebrates genetic diversity, and reverses roles to challenge its viewers to consider the feelings of others, and to always make them feel welcome and loved." – Jerome Lejeuene Foundation
