VATICAN CITY —This moving video captures the most beautiful images from the liturgy of the Lord's Passion celebrated in St. Peter's Basilica on Good Friday. Pope Francis begins the liturgy in the manner prescribed by the rite: Going before the altar, he lies prostrate before it and prays silently for a few moments. He then proceeds with the remainder of the liturgy, which includes the chanting of the Gospel narrative of Jesus' Passion and Death, and adoration of the Cross.
