The sign of the cross is so familiar, we often forget how signiicant the gesture really is. In this Altaration video produced by Ascension Press, Fr. Mike Schmitz, director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth, Minn., walks us through three things everyone should know about making the sign of the cross. Rather than be a gesture we absent-mindedly make, the sign of the cross can itself be a prayer.
