Pem

Leading up to the July 22 release of her second full-length album Champion, singer-songwriter Alanna Boudreau released a video for her song “Pem” from the album. The video, shot live in Nashville, is stark, bare, stripped-down – the perfect backdrop for the song about the fear and vulnerability in loving and being loved.

Inside a room without any curtains,
you’re afraid that somebody just might look in
so it’s easier to say that nobody’s home, then,
that way there’s no risk of showing any skin.
I could play it safe, play it safe, play it safe
I could hide away, hide away, hide away
I can’t live that way…

After watching the video, head over to iTunes to download Champion, or to Alanna’s website to order a physical copy.
