WATCH: Over 1500 singers gather to sing magical rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”

Choir! Choir! Choir! and Rufus Wainwright create moving event in Toronto

At the Luminato Festival at the Hearn Generating Station in Toronto, Ontario, Daveed + Nobu (AKA DaBu) taught 1500 singers the back-up parts to Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” before musician Rufus Wainwright joined them on stage to lead the large group in song. The result is nothing short of spectacular and shows the power of music to unite strangers and inspire all who listen.
