Pro-lifers as Magi: Bearing gifts to your local Crisis Pregnancy Center

In this season, it could almost feel like bringing your own gift to the stable...

There are many ways to help pregnant women and defend the unborn, but what remains as important as ever is providing for their practical needs. One of the big reasons women choose abortion is a lack of resources and support, and local crisis pregnancy centers have long been filling that gap for many vulnerable people. While these centers are always glad to have gently-used cribs, high chairs, strollers, etc., something brand new — just for a mom and her baby — can communicate care and attention, promote a sense of self-worth, and provide an experience that others “have your back.” 

As the Christmas season nears its conclusion, why not consider echoing the generosity of the Magi, and bear a gift or two to your local Crisis Pregnancy center or Parish outreach? Here are some ideas:
