Three Wise Men Parade: Let us therefore celebrate the festival

AFP PHOTO / JOSEP LAGO
A man dressed as King Balthazar, one of the three wise men or the Three Kings shakes hands during the Three Wise Men Parade (Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos) in Vic on January 5, 2017, marking the eve of the feast of Epiphany. This year's controversial parade in Vic is marked by the Catalan Government's endorsement that separatist associations can turn the event into a day of protest in favour of independence from Spain's central government by turning out in large numbers with Catalonia's pro-independence flag, the "Estelada".
