Michel Gondry's short film "Détour" might make you want to get creative too.

Michel Gondry, director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, has created an 11-minute short film shot entirely on an iPhone-7 as part of a promotion for Apple. The endearing movie, entitled Détour, follows a vacationing family who lose a tricycle on the way. Sort of an upbeat The Red Balloon with dialogue (in French, with English subtitles).

Have a fancy phone and want to try making a director’s-quality movie yourself? Apple (and Gondry) offer these tips.
