Amazing! Listen to this tree trunk make real music

Sophia Swinford - published on 07/25/17

A new record player allows us to hear nature's music, making tree trunks into songs.

Nature-lovers everywhere know there’s nothing like the music of nature. Now, Bartholomaus Traubeck has invented a new way to hear an incredible “song” of nature. He’s invented a record player that can “play” tree-rings, by translating the changes in texture and color into music. Because no two tree-rings are alike, no two songs are the same!
