Norwich Cathedral has the second largest cloisters in England, and quite an interesting Facebook profile
Just one verse each day.
The construction of Norwich Cathedral began in 1096, after a Saxon settlement and two smaller churches were demolished to make room for it. The entire cathedral, including its distinctive Norman Tower, was completed in 1145. Its cloisters are the second largest ones in England, only eclipsed by those of Salisbury Cathedral.
And now, you can take a look at this magnificent piece of architecture in this video tour, originally shared on the Cathedral’s FB profile.
