Cassie may be only 5 years old, but she has already donated nearly $1,000 to various charities from her own fundraising. She started painting two years ago, when she was 3, and each time she sells a painting she and her parents pick a new charity to support.

“It was mainly an activity to keep her occupied, and it turned out really well!” her mom reports.

Cassie has always had a heart for helping those in need. Her mom says that one day she came home from school, asking if she could get bottles of water to send to people without clean water, and, thanks to her parents’ encouragement, Cassie is now channeling that enthusiasm into something she loves. With a little help, a childhood hobby has become a source of compassion and mercy, and those who buy her pieces can be sure their money is going to a good cause!

Her artwork has already been displayed in museum exhibitions in Australia, and she is continuing to use her talents to help others.
