Pope Francis has confirmed he will attend the 9th World Meeting of Families, which will take place August 21-26 in Dublin.
The theme for this year’s WMF is “The Gospel of the Family: Joy for the World.”
The pope made the announcement during today’s general audience.
Pope Francis will arrive in Dublin on August 25 and will take part in the “Festival of Families.” He will then celebrate Sunday Mass the next day, August 26.
