These saints expelled demons and cast out evil wherever they went.

As Christians, we firmly believe that the devil is real and that there is a spiritual war going on right now for our souls. At times we may let down our guard, or invite the devil into our lives. If we want to return to a life of Christian living, we may need the help of an exorcist to expel the evil presence within us or our home.

Throughout the centuries countless saints have done exactly that, casting out demons from people and places through the power of God. They were instruments that God used to show his might, reminding us that Satan is powerless when confronted by the Blessed Trinity.

Here are five such saints who cooperated with God and proved to be a “terror” to any demon.
