WIGS FOR KIDS

Viral TRND | Facebook | Fair Use

Sophia Swinford - published on 08/08/18

Wigs for Kids is changing the lives of kids experiencing hair loss.

Experiencing hair loss as a child can have a powerful emotional impact as kids struggle to find their sense of self amidst a changing physical appearance. Cancer treatment, alopecia, and trichotillomania are just some of the causes of hair loss in kids. But no matter the cause, Wigs for Kids is here to help.

Wigs for Kids is a national non-profit providing hair replacements for children experiencing hair loss, at no cost to their families. In the video below, one beautiful young girl receives her first wig, and her reaction shows how much relief the simple gift of a wig can bring for a child going through this kind of stress.

Watch the video below to see her reaction.
