Caring for a furry friend has physical and emotional benefits you may not even realize.

Pets come into our homes for various reasons. It may be a practical need, or because we adore animals, or maybe because we want our children to learn to care for something living. Whatever the motive for opening our doors to a furry friend, having a pet can bring a lot of joy and companionship — even if it does add a little extra to the family budget!
