During this liturgical season of turning our hearts toward God and preparing for Christmas, many holy saints seemed to live the spirit of Advent with special meaning. Some of their feast days fall during Advent, while others embodied eager zeal for Christ in the way they lived. Each of these saints helps us enter deeper into the mystery of this season.
