We are pleased to announce that this year our benefactors will be able to make tax-deductible contributions to support our work.
Dear friends of Aleteia,
Your donations have built Aleteia; your gifts have provided the necessary means for our work to develop. Aleteia has been kept secure by you and you can be proud of what you have made it possible to do!
This year alone, when isolation and despair endanger so many, we were able to reach over 20 million readers, offering to these souls the light and hope of the Gospel!
While the present global health crisis prolongs its deleterious effects, the editorial staff of Aleteia remains mobilized – against all odds – in order to foster vibrant Christian life in these times of trial. First and foremost we continue to hold in our thoughts and prayers all those who have been seriously impacted by this terrible pandemic.
As you know, the economic situation has become difficult for many. Aleteia’s situation is no different. The balance of our operations is threatened, in particular because of the collapse of advertising revenues. We are pleased to announce that this year our benefactors will be able to make tax-deductible contributions to support our work.
This is why I am turning to you today: could you, out of an abundance of generosity, help Aleteia to overcome this crisis?
We come to you now because Lent is traditionally a time when Christians agree to make a special effort to support the missions. Hasn’t Aleteia become an irreplaceable missionary tool on the Internet?
Thanks to you, we are supported by an invincible hope. Your testimonies are pouring in to tell us that Aleteia is playing a vital role in this time of crisis. In these times when the Aleteia team gives its all, under extremely difficult working conditions, every little word from you touches our hearts. Servants of a daily online newspaper, we have only virtual contact with you, our readers, which is why we need your encouragement so much, to keep always before us the sense of dedication to our mission.
In the hope of the Resurrection,
Fr. Patrick Mary Briscoe,
Deputy Senior Editor, Aleteia
