Today is the Annunciation, a day to be reminded of the joy and anxiety that comes with expecting a child. When you are preparing to welcome a child into your family there are so many things to consider. You may question your abilities as a parent, or be concerned about the future for not only yourself but your children.
These are all understandable concerns, and Mary herself wondered what being the mother to the Son of God would mean. However, if you look in the Bible, there are numerous passages that can reassure any expectant mom that whatever lies ahead you’ll not only have God’s love and guidance, but you’ll be carrying out God’s work.
