Prayer to find lasting peace in your soul

Ask God to lead you along the way of peace, finding rest and refreshment in Jesus Christ.

Interior peace can often be elusive, especially in a highly distracted world.

We want to find rest, but we can never find it.

One way to enter into a peace that endures is to ask God to lead you along that path, preparing your soul for the peace that never ends.

Here is a short prayer adapted fromthe Roman Breviary that focuses on this desire of our hearts.

O God from Whom all holy desires all good counsels and all just works do proceed, give unto your servants that peace which the world cannot give that our hearts may be set to obey your commandments and also that through you we being defended from the fear of our enemies and may pass our time in rest and quietness.
