After so much indecision at the beginning, the Tokyo Summer Olympics 2020 finally happened and are coming to a close today.
With officials having the extra responsibility of keeping athletes and fans safe with the ongoing COVID pandemic, the fact that the Games were a resounding success is a testament to what humanity can achieve during a crisis when we come together.
For some athletes, their faith was instrumental in giving them the strength to train in difficult circumstances, and to persevere and face their opponents, and sometimes win a medal! This same belief has also inspired their fans along the way.
