These faith-filled fidgets can help students focus on school while lifting their minds to God.

Fidget toys are game-changers for people who have trouble focusing. Students can bring a little reminder of their faith with them to school, thanks to these Catholic fidgets.

What is a fidget toy, exactly? Well, calling them a “toy” is misleading. They are a tool that helps people busy their hands so their minds can remain calm and attentive:

Fidgets give the user an opportunity to give their hands or bodies something to do, and allows their brain to then focus on the task at hand, such as listening to a teacher or reading.

I didn’t discover fidgets until a year or two ago, and I really wish I’d known about them as a kid! As someone who wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until my late twenties, I resorted to biting my nails and other fidgety habits in order to pay attention in school.

It’s wonderful that these kinds of tools are becoming mainstream. I’ve started using a fidget toy at my book club and in other situations when I have to sit still, and I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my ability to concentrate.

As students head back to school, many of them will benefit from bringing a little fidget along with them. Check out these 5 faith-filled fidgets that can help students focus on school while lifting their minds to God.
