St. Michael the Archangel is widely known for this spiritual help, especially when it comes to encounters with the devil. Even though most of us won’t experience the harrowing stories of demonic encounters told by the saints, we will be tempted to sin on a daily basis.
Here is a short prayer that can quickly call upon St. Michael’s aid in our time of temptation.
At the intercession of St. Michael and the heavenly choir of the Powers, may God vouchsafe to keep our souls from the wiles and temptations of the devil. Amen.
