On October 18, Aid to the Church in Need sponsors "a million children recite the Rosary" for unity and peace.

Pope Francis thanked the many children who will participate October 18, feast of St. Luke, in the initiative sponsored by Aid to the Church in Need: “For unity and peace, a million children recite the Rosary.”

The Pope said:

I encourage this prayer campaign that has been entrusted to the intercession of Saint Joseph in a particular way this year. Thanks to all the boys and girls participating in it! Many thanks.
