This prayer asks God to bless the fruits of the North American martyrs, that the Christian faith they planted will flourish.

Many Jesuit missionaries in North America did all that they could to spread the Christian faith, showing the indigenous people the beauty of Christianity.

Among them were Sts. John de Brébeuf, Isaac Jogues and their companions. They freely gave their lives for Jesus Christ, and their martyrdom planted the seed of the Christian faith in North America.

Here is a prayer that asks God to bless the fruits of their labors, that the Christian faith may flourish on this continent, but also in every nation on earth.

Lord God,
you consecrated the first-fruits of the faith in North America
by the preaching and martyrdom of Saint John de Brébeuf,
Saint Isaac Jogues and their companions.
Through their intercession
may the Church of Christ flourish abundantly in every nation
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
