There are many patron saints of infertility and pregnancy, but one who remains a powerful intercessor is Our Lady of Guadalupe.

She is often invoked as a patron saint of the unborn, but she is increasingly an intercessor for all infertile couples.

The reason behind this is because of the symbolism of her image.

According to the local culture at the time, the black ribbon around her belly indicates that she is with child. Some believe that her appearance even gives evidence that she is about to give birth.

It is fitting that the Virgin Mary would care for all couples hoping to conceive, as she is a caring and loving mother of us all.
