The Church retains an ancient tradition of praying short invocations throughout the day to keep our minds and hearts fixed on God. This is an especially good and holy practice to try during the season of Lent.
Lent is a long season, and at times we may find ourselves not being attentive to its spirit, busying ourselves about many other things.
