God appointed angels to be our guardians, and too often we neglect their presence and forget to ask them for help.
This is unfortunate, as we especially need their help during spiritual affliction and the temptations that come from Satan.
Here is a short prayer from the Liturgical Year that asks your Guardian Angel for spiritual protection.
Holy Angels, our loving Guardians,
defend us in the hour of battle,
that we may not be lost at the dreadful judgment.God hath given his Angels charge of thee.
That they may guard thee in all thy ways.
