Ask God for the grace to be faithful to him and that good will come out of every evil.

Often it is difficult to see the good that God can draw out of an evil event. However, all we need to do is look to the cross of Jesus Christ to see evidence of God’s providential hand.

Here is a prayer from the Raccolta asking God for the grace to be faithful to him in everything, and that good may come out of evil.

O Lord Omnipotent, Who permits evil that you may draw good therefrom, give ear to our humble petitions, whereby we beg of you the grace of being faithful unto death, evermore conforming ourselves to your most holy will.
