Prayer for students as they go back to school

The start of a new school year is a time of great hope, as students return to classes, ready and eager to learn.

One important aspect of going back to school is invoking the blessing of God upon all students, asking God to be with them and fill them with wisdom.

Here is a prayer from the USCCB for all students going back to school.

Lord our God,
in your wisdom and love
you surround us with the mysteries of the universe.

Send your Spirit upon these students
and fill them with your wisdom and blessings.
Grant that they may
devote themselves to their studies
and draw ever closer to you,
the source of all knowledge.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
