A grandmother with Alzheimer's disease was the star of an emotional surprise on her granddaughter's wedding day.
Days before the ceremony, the bride, named Luiza, was very sad to learn that her beloved grandmother wouldn’t be able to attend her wedding. For health reasons, the family preferred to keep the fragile old matriarch at home—at least, that’s what the relatives told the bride. She was sad, but understood.
