Reflect on this Bible verse if you are struggling with any type of addiction.

Harmful addictions can be difficult to break, and at times it may seem that there is no end in sight.

The difficulty of overcoming addictions can easily lead to discouragement, tempting us to simply stop our struggle.

Yet, God has a plan for us and wants to encourage us.

Here is a Bible verse that can help encourage those struggling with addiction, recalling that God will provide a way out of our temptations by giving us the strength to receive help.

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

1 Corinthians 10:13
