Pray with the Pope: Lord, convert the hearts of those who insist on war

As he does in nearly every public address, Pope Francis appealed this November 16 for peace in Ukraine.

I have learned with sorrow and concern the news of a new and even more severe missile attack on Ukraine, which has caused deaths and damage to much civilian infrastructure.

We unite with him in prayer:

Let us pray that the Lord will convert the hearts of those who still insist on war, and make the desire for peace prevail for martyred Ukraine, to avoid any escalation and open the way to a cease-fire and dialogue.
