Bishop James Conley of the Diocese of Lincoln has a beautiful Christmas tradition. At the annual Christmas gathering he reads "The Christmas Story" to the young children of the employees of the diocese.
Below is a video clip, recorded on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, of Bishop Conley reading the book, and getting a little help from his young friends. One of them even impresses him with her knowledge! While the bishop's audience may be a little squirmy, he is clearly delighted at the chance to be with these little ones for this special time.
