New video series provides the resources for healthy pro-life debate

J-P Mauro - published on 01/09/23

'Truth in 90 Seconds' presents pro-life arguments in brief, concise installments that are designed to resonate with the average viewer.

A new video series is presenting pro-life answers to pro-choice arguments in short and concise installments. Titled Truth in 90 Seconds, the series provides viewers with the information and vocabulary needed to hold their own in debate, as well as tools for pro-life evangelization ahead of the 2023 March for Life.

The series is produced by Healing the Culture, a non-profit organization that seeks to create a body of authentic and permanent pro-life advocates. Truth in 90 Seconds is hosted by Camille Pauley, Co-Founder and President of Healing the Culture, who engages viewers with a charismatic and conversational tone.

In a press release, Pauley explained of the show:

“There’s such a need to get intelligent, easy-to-access information out there on the truth and goodness of the pro-life position,” said Camille Pauley. “No one does this better than our co-founder, Fr. Robert Spitzer, and we’ve digested his wisdom into 90-second learning tools that people can learn from and share.”

Each episode lasts only 90 seconds, but they cover a wide range of material in that time, from scientifically researched data to ethical practice and societal implications. Of the six current episodes, available at Respect Life University, four cover hot button topics in relation to abortion. These include “Abortion in Cases of Rape and Incest,” and “Every Child a Wanted Child,” as well as an explanation of Roe v Wade

The remaining two episodes go beyond the topic of abortion to tackle the pro-life views on assisted suicide and euthanasia. These topics in particular have become very relevant in recent years, as more cases of conflict arise between citizens and governments that have passed euthanasia laws. While abortion is perhaps most often the focus of pro-life advocates, end-of-life care is equally important to the movement.

The series is a valuable resource for anyone interested in supporting the pro-life movement, whether they’re just learning the mission or if they’re a veteran pro-lifer who wishes to reinforce their own knowledge. Healing the Culture is confident that the quick, effective answers will appeal to the average viewer and equip them with the tools they need to engage in healthy dialogue on the pro-life position.

In fact, Pauley noted that they have already had positive feedback from viewers:

“We have people showing these videos to parents, roommates, even college professors, and telling us that they’re turning heads and causing people to wonder if they’ve been misled by the abortion juggernaut all these years,” said Pauley.

The entire six-episode series can be viewed in fewer than 20 minutes at Respect Life University’s website. Click here to expand your knowledge of some of the more complex aspects of the pro-life movement today.
