With the recent election of Pope Leo XIV, the Church has entered a new chapter — one already marked by compassion, unity, and a desire to walk with the suffering. This year, giving to Peter’s Pence feels especially meaningful. Just weeks into his pontificate, Pope Leo XIV has clearly set his papacy on the path of charity and unity. In his inaugural homily, he proclaimed:
“This is the hour for love — the love of God that makes us brothers and sisters. Let us build a Church with arms open to the world.”
