An ice cream shop in Minneapolis has revealed a new, limited-time flavor benefiting the victims of the shooting at Annunciation Catholic School.
"Annunciation Strong," the flavor's name, is "blue and green malted vanilla with malted milk balls," said a September 3 post on Facebook from Pumphouse Creamery.
It will be sold in both scoops and in pints from September 4 while supplies last, said the post.
"Annunciation Strong.
100% of the proceeds from this blue and green malted vanilla with malted milk balls flavor will go to Annunciation. It will be available starting tomorrow, while supplies last.
Thank you for supporting community driven ice cream."
Annunciation Catholic School's uniforms are green and blue.
On August 27, the third day of school, shortly before 8:30 a.m., a shooter attacked the all-school Mass.
Two Annunciation students, 10-year-old Harper Moyski and 8-year-old Fletcher Merkel, were killed, and 15 other children were injured. Additionally, three elderly members of Annunciation Church were injured.
The shooter ended his life before the police arrived on the scene. The shooter was an alumnus of Annunciation School and graduated in 2017.
