Pope Leo XIV is once again spending Tuesday at the papal residence in Castel Gandolfo, confirmed Matteo Bruni, director of the Holy See Press Office, today.
On Monday evening, the Pope arrived at Villa Barberini – where he is staying – on the Holy See territory located about 30 kilometers (19 miles) southeast of Rome.
The Holy Father had led a Monday evening liturgy for the Jubilee of Consolation before departing from the Vatican.
Leo is expected to return to the Vatican this evening.

Last Tuesday, on September 9, the Pontiff spent his Tuesday, traditionally considered the popes' day of rest, in this restful setting full of the beauty of nature.
Castel Gandolfo's grounds also include a tennis court, a sport of which the Pope is a fan.
