People across the United States will soon have the chance to venerate relics of St. Thérèse of Liseux as they begin a national tour from October 1 through December 8, 2025.
The relic tour is part of the celebrations of the 100th jubilee of the canonization of St. Thérèse, said the website for the tour.
St. Thérèse of Liseux was canonized on May 17, 1925, and her feast day is observed each year on October 1.
The relics will begin their journey across the United States at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, located in Royal Oak, Michigan. From October 1 through October 8, the faithful will have the opportunity to attend Mass at the basilica and venerate the relics.
From there, the relics will be in California from October 10 through October 31, and then will move to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, located in San Antonio, Texas.
The relics will continue their journey through the southern United States, with stops in Louisiana, Arkansas, and then up to St. Louis on Monday, November 9.
On November 14, St. Thérèse's relics will be transported to Milwaukee and then onward to the National Shrine and Basilica of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill in Wisconsin. The relics will remain there until November 18.
St. Thérèse's relics will then be transported to Washington, D.C., stopping first at Theological College at Catholic University the evening of November 19.
From November 20 through November 22, the relics will be able to be venerated at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
St. Thérèse's relics will visit various places in Maryland and northern Virginia through November 30.
The relic tour concludes in Miami, where St. Thérèse's relics will be able to be venerated at different churches in the area until December 8.
