Looking to celebrate the feast day of the world’s first Millennial saint? We’ve got you covered with these ideas.

It’s today! The feast day of the world’s first Millennial saint, the very beloved St. Carlo Acutis, whose canonization was just last month.

Looking for a few ways to celebrate? We’ve got you covered with these ideas.

And to learn more about St. Carlo, check out his story here!

1Attend Mass or Eucharistic Adoration

St. Carlo deeply loved Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. He made a point to attend Mass every day from his First Communion at age seven until his death.

What better way to honor him than to adore Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, as he loved to do?

2Use technology for God's glory

St. Carlo used technology and the internet for good, creating a website about Eucharistic miracles. If you’re on social media, create an uplifting post or video today, perhaps about St. Carlo.

3Learn about his life

There are a number of fun ways to learn about St. Carlo. We love this LEGO movie about him, or you might watch Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality. And don’t miss the website he was working on before he died, sharing God’s miracles with the world.

4Observe a digital fast

Even better than uplifting social media? Stepping away from all the digital distractions to foster face-to-face connections. St. Carlo loved to foster warm friendships with all kinds of people, from his friends at school to people in need in his native Milan.

5Enjoy some Nutella!

My kids don’t think it’s a real feast day without some kind of special food. St. Carlo was known for his love of Nutella, so that sounds like the perfect thing for today. May we suggest Nutella crepes?

On the topic of fostering connections and making Nutella crepes, what about having a few friends over for dessert in honor of the occasion? We’ve got a few more recipes for you over here.

Happy feast day, and may St. Carlo Acutis pray for us!
