The whole Aleteia community is praying for Pope Leo and his ministry and for the fruits of this visit in Africa and in the whole world!

Pope Leo finally completed his marathon journey to four countries in Africa. The 11-day, five-language trip concluded with a last public Mass on Thursday, April 23, in Malabo Stadium in Equatorial Guinea.

The Holy Father assured that he is leaving with "an immeasurable treasure of faith, hope, and charity."

"This treasure consists of stories, faces, and testimonies, both joyful and sorrowful, which will greatly enrich my life and ministry as the Successor of Peter,"the 70-year-old Pope said.

The trip included visits to hospitals, a prison, monuments, and meetings with the leaders (both government and Church leaders) and the faithful of the four nations.

You can find the texts, videos, and photos of the journey at the Vatican web site, by clicking here.
