On the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests, the Pontiff urged clergy to cherish fraternity and become builders of peace.

Pope Leo XIV addressed priests worldwide in a message sent on Friday, June 12. “We are limited and imperfect,” he wrote, emphasizing the need to “cherish your priestly fraternity.” In an “age marked by division and fear,” he called on priests to be credible signs of “unity, peace and mercy.”
